Re: drugs
I think they use "T" as the rating just to be safe. I think they know they're dealing with lots of younger players too. I already said I don't want drugs in the game, or teen pregnancy, but I don't see what's so wrong with a bit of alcohol. Is it really as bad as forcing your Sim to die in a bed of flames, or drowning them slowly to their death? I don't think so, not really.

Re: drugs
Haha, I love your take on the matter, Cassie. Wink

And, surprise, surprise, I agree!

But, like most issues, I don't mind one way or the other. I can understand how one would think it would promote drinking, but really there's enough of that in the real world - I seriously doubt one game is going to have more of an impact on kids than, say, their parents, friends, celebrities, siblings, etc..

Re: drugs
I could completely understand how someone would dislike having alcohol in the game, but there are ways around it. They wouldn't even have to call it alcohol! They could call it something really random, like Chubalubally! :Smile Big Grin And only older players could comprehend what it really was. But I definitely don't like the idea of drugs. That's too much for me.

Re: drugs
Chubalubally...I love it!

And I agree about the drugs...too much for anyone, really.

Re: drugs
Yea I'm with the last few people on the drug issue. But one thing I reaaaally want added to the game is casual woohoo. I really hate how my sim woohoos with the maid and then he'll eventually get married (and he also can't officially end it) and many many sim days later he's afraid that he'll fall out of love with her, even though they haven't spoken for ages.

I think Cassie made a good point about the violence in the game versus a bit of alcohol. I think it would be the same with casual woohoo. If you can influence kids to have s3x all over the place, then surely doing it without being in love isn't a big deal.
