Watching TV while on bed?

I like those ideas, they would be cute initially. But I wouldn't want my sim to get out of bed each time it thundered. Maybe they could just be awake but not get out of bed (if its something like a thunderstorm, or they're having a nightmare from a scary movie).

The kids running into their parents room would be sweet but I don't know if its possible to program all that. Seems like a whole lot of work. Haha.

Hehe, well it is TS3, and I expect a whole lot of work put into this game.

But yes, great ideas from the both of you, I was nodding while reading them. I've discussed burgulars before, and I too think it would be brilliant if our Sims could find a way to hold off the bugular until the police arrive, because they get away so darn quickly in TS2. I think Brave Sims should be ready and waiting to kick those burgular's behinds if ever they encounter one, in fact, I think Brave Sims should anticipate it. And Shy Sims should pee themselves with fright, haha. And I too think the whole house should awake, or at least the majority of members, I find it a bit unreal that everybody sleeps through the noise a burgular would make. And burgular's should also have to smash windows or something to get in. It would be cool if we could leave windows open and if they are left open at night, burgulars can use it as an oppurtunity to get to work.

But anyway, this has gone a little off-topic again lol. I'm in no way having a go, because I'm officially the worst at staying on-topic, but I want to respect Matt's wishes to keep things relevant to the topic in the Sim-related threads, so I'll just say that if you do get any cool ideas like the above that you wish to discuss, it's best to make a thread for it, which you guys seem to have done, so props to you!

i remember trying to make my sims watch tv when the option to lounge on the bed was made available and miserably failing. i'd be happy if they added this feature, little differences like that will definitely make my gameplay experience more realistic

yes u can in the sims 2 u cant watch tv while on the bed i would like in the sims 3 for u to be able to eat and watch tv
