Yep, it's because there are many minors on this forum, not sure they'd mind the language, have you heard the way some of them talk these days? But it's for the best. We do have certain people that look over these forums every once in a while.

I guess the word could vary in some countries but in the UK, it is pretty much classed as foul language.

Yeah, me too, I was offended; just because there are optimists in the world, doesn't mean we go 'la la la not listening' to everything. Seriously though, there are a lot of pessimists on that thread trying to beat the optimists down. I might go rejoin the forum later, try and help defend you guys.
And I read about Kate getting her revenge on Snooty Sims! She totally took a digg at them! In some respects, I agree, because the forum was being very critical about her, but she dug her own grave and that's really her own problem there. So... yeah. Everything's pretty intense in the community recently.

yah, but it's not like snooty was the only forum being critical. plus if she can give critique to the sims 3 then why can't we give critique about her? it's true that if she hadn't start the whole rumor we would've probably not even have checked if there were actually sites talking about a delay. i'm not saying that she can't review the game from her own perspective but saying that someone from EA told her there was going to be a delay just caused a huge shockwave through all the forums. plus snooty does not equal the entire forum, there are some idiots on there (like any other forum) and then i'm not even talking about all the critiques on kate.

on topic: Ea is driving people (more) insane right now. TBA, not TBA, TBA, not TBA, and so on till all of our heads explode and there is not a sims player in the world anymore, then what huh?

I still believe..but hope..that there is not a delay...I believe and hope that this is all a joke...I wil cry and basically will not care about the sims anymore if there is a delay..but im not givin up hope I have class in ten min.Ill be home around six...so hopefully when I turn on the computer..there is no delay...and the 20th is still the release day...and I will be happy...but I got more important things to worry about anyway..I have a certified nurse assistance test tomorrow morning..and I pray passing that than anythng right now..but I hope for the best and I will have my fingers cross
