The Sims 3; Delayed Thread.

If it's June, I have exams then, I don't want a brand new game tempting me to not study.

@ Lilia, I think she just targeted Snooty because its such a popular well-respected site that these days most of the Sims community knows about. She gets more attention if she points the finger at those guys. It's not like Snooty even had anything to do with it, yet she is purposely trying to turn people away from his site! Yes, because that's mature.

Anyhoo, yep, back to the topic. It's getting ridiculous, all these dates, you'd think a consistent date would have leaked by now. Everything relies on this conference tonight/today.

yah and there is a chance they might not even say anything at all, even though there had been word that they would announce something but then again they also said it was going to be released the 20th of feb and that came out of Ben Bell's own mouth. now we can't even trust dear ben anymore, what has this world come to  {lol}

Lol, well if they don't say aything about Sims 3, I'm going to take that as a good sign, and that there's no delay. The webcast for me airs at 10pm, so in about 3 hours. I'll go to bed early (well, 10pm is early for me..) and listen out and hope. I think my sleeping could go either way tonight. I'll either sleep happy, knowing that Sims 3 is not going to be delayed (or only delayed within a month, which I can handle), or I'll not sleep/have nightmares because it's going to be delayed to something stupid like the summer.

I'm tellin' ya, if they delay to July, that's going to be one huge month for me (offically left school forever, HBP film is out, AND Sims 3).

It’s a little bit ridiculous to delay it now when we are less than twenty days away.

I feel like just hiding away from all the sites and boards until tomorrow and then peeking in, and if I see "O God no!!! The Horror!!!" then I'll know it’s delayed.

the summer is a really bad time for me: i have to work a summerjob, study for my retake exams in august and stay alive while doing those

I also have that feeling that they may not say nothing at all, or they would only briefly mention TS3.  I mean, the main point of the press conference is their finances and stuff.  Really, I'm expecting a brief mention, and I hope it's clear.  I don't really feel like no incomplete answer, like they always give us.  If there's no mention, then heck, I won't be worried.

Today or if it's posted tomorrow, I wanna hear whether or whether not if it's delayed or not.

Ben is a drag...I mean, out of all the games that I had followed and watched, EA has to be the most unclear developers I had ever seen.  Like they really don't know the release date?  Next time on ANY game EA releases, unless they are positively sure, please, do not state a release date WAY before they know if it would be done or before that date.  

If it's delayed, I'd be so mad, because it's so close to the supossed release date.  I don't care about a few weeks to a month, but if it's like Fall 2009 or so, then OMG.  I would hate it being delayed to summer, but at least I won't have to worry about school.  That would be nice, unless it's August.

If they wanted to delay it, I find anytime last year would've been reasonable, but now, it's so close, it's kind of heartbreaking for me. Let's just, blank our minds until tonight, and then we'll know what's really going on with this chiz. That's what I plan to do. It's only a few more hours now..

@ Lilia, I dunno why we leave so early, but I got lucky, because they've now moved the school leaving age to 17 for people who started secondary school this year and for future secondary schoolers. Muhahaha.
