Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Yep, I plan on playing for a month or so as well. I want to get to know the game, mess around, create multiple families and see how things progress. I'll probably go through a few generations before I start branching out and creating things to share.

For example, I want to know what it's like to live an entire life of a sim in my game. Go through a whole genration. Like career, marriage, babies, funerals etc.

I've had a few ideas to create some musice videos to a few songs I've been wanting to attach. I've been daydreaming about them for months and I really want to see those ideas come into play. Once I get used to the game, i'll branch off and start creating and sharing things.

That's why I really don't like sharing or downloading sims. I also want some things to myself, it isn't fun if everyone has what you have, for a while, if something you design looks really good, you want the "ooo's" and "ahs" that people give you.

I mean, is it wrong for us to want some time with the game by ourselves? I really can't wait- we only have like 40 something odd days (help me out here heheh) until it's in our glorius hands!

I'm a little worried though, I mean, I guess in the begining, i'll be playing as a test- just to see what's different, new, and perfected from the old games. Looking at some of the videos, I haven't really seen anything new so I'm hoping we will be getting a lot more surprises. I guess you can never really get too bored of a whole town-

Then again, we have expansion packs to look forward to, and the other town they promise to let us download not long after we get the game. I just hope it's not repetative.... but- I really don't mind too much because they LOOK good. Even if I recreated my sims 2 game in ts3, it will still have a different "feel" to it.

Then, after I've felt like things have gotten a bit repetative (before expansion packs) I'll share.....because then I will be focusing more on creating characters for plots and finding ways to mesh clothing and not focused too much on my game.
