RE: Hope
'FOR THE LAST TIME I DIDN'T KILL MY WIFE OR MY CHILD!' I screamed at the last officer. 'NOW GET OUT!' I slammed the door behind the officer and wept. I continuously reviewed the event in my head. 'Maybe Jamie was right,' I thought. ' Maybe Theodore is dead.' I began to drink. And drink. Until I passed out. The next morning I woke up with a massive headache and little memory of last night. I know that I shouldn't have, but I read the newspaper anyway. As soon as I saw the top story I stopped reading. 'I guess it just you and me,' I told my little girl. To keep my mind occupied, I decided to teach Gracie how to walk. Soon enough she figured out how to walk and I praised her. Unfortunately, It didn't keep my mind occupied for long enough and I felt nauseous as to what had been happening over the past few days. Desperately in need of money, with no Jamie to play for tips, I went and did some extreme dumpster diving, which earned me quite a bit of cash. Hoping it would spare me some of the pain, I organised a funeral. Quickly before the funeral I took a quick swig of one of my bottles. Most people headed inside because of the cold wether, but few went outside to mourn. RIP Jamie, you will be missed by many. Thank god I managed to find an easy way of getting those paragraphs in. |

RE: Hope
And to think that at the beginning of this story my main concern was that his apple trees would go dormant!

RE: Hope
Things have certainly escalated and there have been a few shocks!
I'm glad you were able to fix your paragraphs, by the way. The formatting is odd sometimes on SF isn't it. |

RE: Hope
Most of the time I use the Source section rather than the editor section, coz the formatting code for myBB is so fiddlesticks & flapdoodle. It can't cope with pasting in text from somewhere else, & you have to go back to manually correct it or posts look like its been done in carmen figuratum. If you flick backwards & forwards between the two types, you can usually sort it first time, but it is a pain.
Sims 3 Dumpster diving FTW! |

RE: Hope
Days began to blur together quickly. My days consisted of two things: 1. Dumpster diving (which I could easily earn 1,000 simoleons a day from, although it did make me extremely nauseous) and 2. Drinking until passed out. I knew it wasn't the healthiest lifestyle especially with my child, but I had to do what I had to do to get by. Speaking of kids time flew by so fast that I barely noticed Gracie's change from toddler to child. A new day began and so did a hangover, oh and so did Gracie's first day of school of course. Later in the day, after my dumpster diving and after Gracie had gotten home, I ate some cake and sat down. As I sat down I heard a farting noise, which seemed odd. When I did the dishes water sprayed in my face, but I still didn't think much of it. I became more aggravated later when someone had put hair dye in my shampoo. When I flushed the loo, that was the final straw. Toilet stuff flew into my face. Either I was having a really bad day or... "GRACIE?!" I yelled out at her. "What?" She called back in an annoyed tone. "What the hell is wrong with you?" I scolded her. We continued to argue for quite a period of time. Soon I accidently blurred out, "I hate you, you disrespectful accident." As soon as she cried, I had no choice but too apologize. Great now I had a Wife who committed suicide with police constantly bugging me about it suggesting that I killed her, a missing child and now I also have a troublesome child- oh and i'm an alcoholic. Life was just fantastic I tell ya. Over the weekend I decided to mend Gracie and I's relationship by showing her what I used to love to do back when I had spare time- going to the gym. She appeared to take quite a fondness to the gym and I think she actually liked it. After showering we took a quick snack from the gyms fridge. If only we could do this everyday. Although little did I know that Gracie had gotten up to a bit of mischievous while we were there. |

RE: Hope
Go Gracie!
Dark days indeed in that household. I hope he snaps out of it and takes better care of himself. That's a lot of money that you can make from dumpster diving! |

RE: Hope
I know, you make tons of cash from it, you can even use the items that you've found as normal furniture. BRB it's time to go shopping IRL.
I couldn't live in our old house, I couldn't stand it, all misery. Considering we had quite a bit of money from my dumpster diving I decided to get us a brand spanking new place to live. It was the lower-middle class dream house. For once I could get one of those fancy machines (I think they're called TV's). We also had a great looking kitchen. And even better, separate bedrooms. And the bathroom was just divine. After another day of dumpster diving I found a lovel microwave which fitted in perfectly in my kitchen. After school, Gracie brought home a friend, hoping to test out the new Frisbee that she bought (with my money >: ( ). Unfortunately he left for no apparent reason while Gracie was about to ask him if he would like to play, So I ended up having to cheer her up by playing with her even though it was raining. I'll admit it, I showed off just a little. When lightning struck we headed inside and prepared some Mac and cheese. MMmmm it was delicious. Today was probably the best time I've had for as long as I can remember. Ending the day with a lovely tale. Also note that it was the first day that I haven't had a drink since Jamie died. We woke up in the morning to find the dresser floating in the air. "Daddy, what's happening?" Gracie asked. "I'm not quite sure," I replied. Being Gracie's birthday, later in the day we went and saw one awesome game. After the game we had a small party for Gracie. The next morning I woke up to find Gracie sitting in, whatever you call those. "You like my new style," Gracie asked. "Umm..." |
