No lots? But that can't be!
I wonder if we'll still be able to edit "community lots". Calling the neighborhood seamless makes it seem as if they're doing away with the concept of the 'lot' all together, making everything a part of everything else.
I am curious. |

Actually I think it would be kinda cool without lots, that way there won't be a limit to how big your buildings are...

Me too, I can't imagine having no lots.

Re: No lots? But that can't be!
I think there will still be "lots", just not isolated lots.
like, empty spaces that can be either residential or community? and you can build on them... I was thinking about this earlier. so there will be... what was it I had thought of... some name. Patches of land. Let's just say that. So there's no loading time inbetween "lots" ~The Great And Powerful Moz<br /><br />tons of info about The Sims 3.<br />http://www.sims3.com/the_sims_3/check_this_out-t976.0.html |

Yes, I can't see us being able to build just anywhere.

I wonder what will become of Downtown.
It was always the separate entity of continuous nighttime. |

Re: No lots? But that can't be!
Well, you could change whether it was nighttime or daytime, so it'll probably just cycle normally.
if it cycles, which it should. ~The Great And Powerful Moz<br /><br />tons of info about The Sims 3.<br />http://www.sims3.com/the_sims_3/check_this_out-t976.0.html |

You will be able to buy and build on patches of land, but they are not isolated like lots in TS2&1. I imagine being able to stick your building tool on any patch of grass that isn't on owned real estate, so it would be like real life where you can claim a chunk of land and then pay for the amount os squares. |

Oh okay, I agree with the patches of land thing that makes much more sense
