It always annoyed me that the art easle didn't work sideways - it looked so lovely sideways, and yet they wouldn't use it properly... dumb sims can't they understand how to live life out of the box?

It really aggravated me. I'd try putting the arm chair sideways and the stupid thing intersected with the couch, and then on top of that, my sims couldn't even sit in the chair. I can't win!  :o

Has it been confirmed that 45 angles will be possible, or are simmers just assuming it from the pictures?

I remember a lot of disappointed simmers who expected a butler in one EP from pictures EA released.
They use cheats to build houses, and they stage pictures as well.

the pics are straight from official gaming mags which go them from EA, so you definetly can use 45 degree angles

I am also excited about that 'simgrapes'. But it is possible in The Sims 2, so you can have fun with it there! ;D
