That way if the mom died, the baby wouldn't starve, just like in real life. Seems perfectly natural to me.

I agree!! Nearly everywhere in the world do they tell how good it is for the baby to get breastfeeded, so why shouldnt we do that in sims life too??

Re: Breastfeeding
Maybe they don't do breastfeeding because it could raise the rating?

I really liked that about the original Sims. And I think babies/toddlers/kids should die instead of being taken away from the social worker. It's more original, though a bit sad.

yeah i think thoose are really cool idea i really hate the social workers! and also maybe the kids could come back like with slightly different personalities and aspirations like to get more knowledge or something? I dunno thats probs taking it a bit far...but yeah like the military school idea!

Re: Breastfeeding
No, that's a very good point! They should come back with more body, an athletic trait, or more grumpiness.

Yeah, that is a good idea. when a kid has a nightmare, that he will jump into his parents bed. Ahhw, that would be cute!   ;D

Re: Breastfeeding
i like the idea of breatfeeding and also it should benifit the baby. in real life if you breatfeed your baby, tests have proven that it improves their IQ and immune system-this should be the same for sims.

Re: Breastfeeding
A breastfeeding sim doesn't have to SHOW anything! It can easily be discreet, and frankly I dont think a blur over it is appropriate. My friend Mandy has a sheet she throws over her shoulder when she feeds for modesty, and the many people have slits in the shirt so you can't see any boob. You can watch sims take a shower, why not breastfeeding?  The baby's head covers any nudity anyhow. Seems simple enough... Co-sleeping is done all the time, both my sisters did it, I did it, and some lady came to my birthing classes promoting it as "Attachment Parenting" which is getting big in the western world, after all the Boomers got "detachment parenting" and are unhappy with how they were raised. Anyhow. Formula and bottles just aren't the end all be all that they used to be. :-* ???

Re: Breastfeeding
it's more realistic al so another thing is you can't sit while you're holding a baby you have to put them on the ground first then sit.  They should make to where you can sit with them them too it makes more sense :-\
